The Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service of NSW (GLCS) is a volunteer based community service providing free, anonymous and confidential telephone counselling, information and referral services and support groups for gay men, lesbians, bisexual and transgender persons (GLBT) and people in related communities throughout New South Wales (NSW) on sexuality and life issues. Talking It Out Men's Discussion Group - 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, 7pm-9pm. Social Saturdays (social group) - 3rd Saturday of each month, 4.30pm-6.30pm GLCS also hosts Newtown SMART Drug & Alcohol Recovery, Mondays 6pm-7.30pm (not public holidays) Mardi Gras season is nearly upon us again - and GLCS is putting a walking float into the Parade (Sat 3 March) again this year! The Social Saturdays' session on Saturday 18 February 2012 (4.30pm, arrive before 5pm) will be devoted to Mardi Gras sign making and prop decorating, costume tips and sharing Mardi Gras stories so please come along if you're planning to march. If you're not marching or are marching with a different group, you are still very welcome to join us on 18/2/12. |
