The Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service of NSW (GLCS) is a volunteer based community service providing free, anonymous and confidential telephone counselling, information and referral services and support groups for gay men, lesbians, bisexual and transgender persons (GLBT) and people in related communities throughout New South Wales (NSW) on sexuality and life issues.

Lesbian Line: 02 8594 9595 or 1800 144 527 (regional callers) - open Mondays 5:30pm-9:30pm 

 

Young people (under 26) can also call Twenty10 on 8594 9555 between 10am-5pm for support and information.

Social Support Groups (for people 18 and over)

 

Women's Coming Out Group: fortnightly, Thursday 7pm-9pm (see the Women's COG page under the services tab for dates and topics)

Talking It Out: Men's Discussion Group: fortnightly, Thursday 7pm-9pm (see the Men's T.I.O. page under the services tab for dates and topics)

Social Saturdays: a social group for all LGBTIQ people - women, men, and sex and/or gender diverse people. Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month, 4.30pm-6.30pm (see the Social Saturdays page under the services tab for dates and activities)

SMART: SMART (drug and alcohol recovery), Mondays 6pm-7.30pm except public holidays (see the SMART page under the services tab for more information).

 

All groups are held at: Twenty10 Incorporating GLCSNSW - Level 1, 45 CHIPPEN ST, CHIPPENDALE (corner Meagher St, entrance in Chippen Street, look for the Twenty10 signage).
